Consult. Educate. Teach.
I was coached in the early 70's in Mt. Isa by former Olympic Coach Bill Sweetenham. I opened my first swim school in 1980 in North Queensland and began my lifelong journey in teaching children & educating teachers on how to learn to swim.
After 35 years of experience in the Learn To Swim industry as a swim school owner, manager, teacher, teacher presenter, program developer, facility designer and industry consultant, I now travel the world sharing my knowledge through consulting, presenting & educating.
As an award winning industry expert, my program has produced Olympians & World Record Holders. Through my "no tears" policy I'm passionate about educating babies, children, parents & educators on the safe, gentle & proven methods of learning to swim.
Today I spend my time between North Queensland & the Gold Coast visiting my son's & my grandchildren.
I am also the Program Director of Little Snappers Swim Schools. And am an active member of Swim Australia & ASSA. When I'm not teaching I enjoy travel, real estate & spending time with my grandsons.
