ABOUT CHRIS

Consult. Educate. Teach.

Chris was coached in the early 70's in Mt. Isa by former Olympic Coach Bill Sweetenham. She opened her first swim school in 1980 in North Queensland and began a lifelong journey in teaching children & educating teachers on how to learn to swim.

After 40 years of experience in the Learn To Swim industry as a swim school owner, manager, teacher, teacher trainer, program developer, facility designer and industry consultant, she now travels the world sharing her knowledge through consulting, training & educating.

As an award winning industry expert, her program has produced Olympians & World Record Holders. Through her "no tears" policy she is passionate about educating babies, children, parents & educators on the safe, gentle & proven methods of learning to swim.

Today she spends her time between North Queensland & the Gold Coast visiting her sons & grandchildren.

As the Founder & Program Director of Little Snappers Swim Schools, together with her son Mark and his wife Mai, she continues to educate her team and expand access to gentle Learn To Swim lessons across Queensland. She is an active member of Swim Australia & ASSA. When she is not teaching she enjoys travel, real estate & spending time with her grandchildren.
